-Before you make hasty decision and lock this topic-
The Chat Your Heart Out thread is about chatting about random stuff.
This is a DISCUSSION folder. People come here to discuss problems that they have, or if they just want to debate for now flippin reason, like I know some people enjoy to do.
This thread is more specific.
Before you lock; give me a good reason.

I'm going to start off this debating thread.

Topic - Minecraft

I haven't got the game yet, for I want it out of beta first. I've seen a whole bunch of youtube videos of the game, and it's pretty amazing actually. It generates completely random worlds that you can explore, and you have to find an objective to start a quest. Like Swampy_Dogbeard is kind of difficult to find in one of the worlds. He literally FLYS up to a platform, and it takes a buttload of time to get up there. You can craft weapons, items, and my favorite, carve paths and set makeshift traps to kill Creepers and Zombies. There's TNT, Buckets where you can pickup lava, water to put fire out (that can be a life saver if you are on fire) Signs where you can mark your progress or place it as a landmark dedicated to you Online.
Overall, it's a pretty awesome game. The only downfall I can think of is graphics are kinda 2D and pixelated. And since it's currently in Beta, there are some riddled bugs.

I think you're either lying or incredibly overreacting.

It's not half Minecraft's fault your computer was unprotected and you downloaded a program that's known as a hack, anyways. If you ask me, that's your foolish mistake.

If he tried to get Minecraft again, there's no way he could run it on that computer.

You could play pretty much any game with that much memory.
The recommended requirements for most new games don't ask for much more than 2 GB.
RAM isn't everything though, you might want to see about your video/graphics card and processor.

^ Right.
That's what gaming computers have, only it's on steroids.
A better video/graphics card = more games and more succesful.

Then the severs were probably having problems when you got on. It's still in Beta, and for classic, it's still in Alpha, or even in the beginning stages of the game.
