Something on the flaming rule

In my opinion, whatever to be defined as a "flame" would depend on the person you consider flamed. Before even hovering your mouse over the "ban user" button, consider this: I'm called an idiot every day. Say, maybe, Beast gets P/O'd at something I did and calls me an idiot. I wouldn't really be offended; but then he gets warned or banned? I believe that if a person is offended by an insult someone threw, then it's flaming and would be reported or PM'd to a Admin/Mod. Otherwise, it's average-day internet chat.

A ban has already taken place. This man has flammed/ given harsh CC waaay to much. :/ and I thought this was how we had our rules?

I agree, and I don't think I've ever accused anyone of flaming unless somebody was insulted. I may have, though, and i'm sure Claire will find it if that is so.

I personally think that it would be flaming if the victim is actually hurt or offended by the insults. Calling someone an idiot is NOT a big insult. If you are hurt by that word:
You're 5.
Calling someone something else(I'm not going into detail)that can actually HURT someone in the teenage years, then that is considered flaming.
